My youngest daughter absolutely loves mayo.  If left to here own devices she would eat it on everything! The ingredients listed however on shop bought mayonnaise shows they are full of chemical nasties and substitutes for natural ingredients. So now I make my own. I know exactly what goes in it and although it doesn’t last as long in the fridge, it isn’t full of a load of chemical nonsense either! My favourite dish at any Chinese restaurant is almost always the sweet and sour… well sweet and sour anything! Vegetables, chicken, pork, prawns… if it is covered in that sweet yet tangy sauce then I am all over it. But I am unable to cook it at home for a family meal as only I like it…. bummer, right? My eldest daughter is obsessed by chocolate milkshakes, however, have you ever read the ingredients of some of the commercial milkshake syrups and powders you can buy? It’s scary! She particularly likes a well known US brand of chocolate syrup for making chocolate milk, called Hershey’s. Yup we have all heard of it! But here in the UK it is hard to find.
